My name is Daudi Magesa, a security guard and groundskeeper at Oikos School in Bukabwa. In 2011, I heard the gospel preached in my village. After living a life that didn’t please God—one of drunkenness—I decided to accept and follow Jesus. From that day forward, I have been striving to overcome the world by living according to His will. I am grateful for the grace of God that has enabled me to make this transformation.
After a few years had passed, I heard about Twelve21 coming to our village with the aim of helping us in three aspects: sharing the Gospel, providing education, and offering health care. I was drawn to the organization as I wanted to be surrounded by people who could help me grow spiritually, and I also wanted to find a way to make money for my family.
I decided to find out more about Twelve21 and what it could offer us. I soon discovered that the organization had a dedicated team of people who were passionate about spreading the Gospel and helping people in our community. I really got interested and when an opportunity came, I was employed as a security guard and groundskeeper.
My primary duty is to ensure the safety of all students, faculty, and staff as well as the resources of the school. I am also responsible for making sure the school environment is clean and friendly for everyone. I regularly check for safety hazards such as broken glass or exposed wires and ensure that the pathways are free of debris. I monitor the premises and make sure grounds are tidy and well-maintained. I take great pride in my work, and I work hard to ensure that Oikos School is a safe and welcoming environment.
I am amazed at the amount of work Twelve21 Global is doing in our village and the impact they have on our community. I see how their efforts are helping people gain knowledge, skills, and resources to improve their lives.
Twelve21 has been a blessing to our village and has truly made a lasting, positive impact on our lives. I am proud to be a part of it, and I am thankful for all the help and support they have provided us over the years. Thanks to them, we are able to experience spiritual growth and economic stability. I am thankful for their dedication and commitment to helping the people of our village.
I feel incredibly blessed to have a job at Twelve21. Not only are salaries paid on time, but the unity and cooperation among the workers is something I truly appreciate. The devotions and spiritual guidance provided by Twelve21 helps me to grow as an individual, and I am truly thankful for that.
