A Parent’s Story: Mr. Kijiji Kionjo’s Hope for His Child
My name is Mr Kijiji Kionjo. I am a resident of Bukabwa Village. Life for uneducated children in our community on Kome Island can be quite challenging. Without access to formal education, our children face limited opportunities to learn, grow, and develop their skills. Because many of these children struggle to read, write, or do basic arithmetic, they have difficulty communicating effectively or participating fully in the modern world.
These children often have limited exposure to different subjects and knowledge beyond their immediate surroundings. They miss out on valuable information and experiences that could expand their horizons and open up new possibilities for their future. Without proper education, children face a higher risk of poverty and unemployment as they grow older.
Historically, children in our community have struggled with decision-making, confidence, and interpersonal relationships. Twelve21 Global is empowering these children to overcome the challenges they face and create brighter futures for themselves and their community by providing access to quality education.
I feel grateful that Twelve21’s school offers education, meals, and healthcare for my child. I am relieved that my child’s basic needs will be cared for, ensuring my child’s well-being and ability to focus on studies.
Providing these essential services can create a more equitable educational experience for all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background. I value the opportunity for every child to thrive and succeed, and these supports play a significant role in making that possible. I hope the school’s commitment to providing these resources will provide a positive learning environment for all students.
As a new parent who has just registered a child in this school, I am eager to see what the school offers and become familiar with its environment. I value the opportunity for my child to receive a quality education and develop important skills for their future. Open and effective communication between the school and parents is also important to me, to ensure that we are kept informed about my child’s progress and any important updates.
My expectation is that the school creates a safe and inclusive learning environment. I hope to see a dedicated and passionate team of educators who are committed to supporting my child’s individual needs and helping our children to reach their full potential. Ultimately, I am looking forward to seeing my child thrive in this school and develop a love for learning.
