Twelve21 Global is dedicated to serving vulnerable families in the remote villages of Tanzania. These are places that are difficult to access and places where witchcraft, disease, and lack of education breed intense poverty and hopelessness. However, these places have not been forgotten by God.
At Twelve21, we are called to address these pressing needs by sharing the gospel, educating vulnerable children, and empowering communities to achieve sustainable development using their God-given resources.
Because the majority of our staff live in the communities we serve, familieslook to us as trusted partners dedicated to their physical, mental, and spiritualwell-being in the short and long term. We empower them by creating multiple opportunities for success. But most of all, we’re restoring their hope by sharing the gospel and helping them experience spiritual renewal. No matter who they are or where they live, we want every Tanzanian to know that they are children of God—that their lives have purpose and value (Matthew 12:21).
“Because the majority of our staff live in the communities we serve,
families look to us as trusted partners dedicated to their physical,
mental, and spiritual well-being in the short and long term.”
Generational change can be hard to measure, but in Kome Island and Bukabwa, we regularly witness the impact we are making every single day. When children confidently tell us what they want to be when they grow up, we know Twelve21 is creating the change to help these abandoned communities begin to dream again.
